Financial Responsibility

Billing for The Surgery Center is separate from your surgeon or doctor's services. Our charges include the cost for your procedure or operating room, nursing staff, drugs and supplies for surgery and recovery.

A Patient Representative will attempt to contact you prior to your visit to help you pre-register and discuss your insurance benefits, according to your carrier, such as any co-payment requirement, deductible amounts due, and your portion of co-insurance. An estimate of your total patient responsibility will also be provided on the day of service.

The Surgery Center is approved by Medicare and we accept many types of health plans. Our office staff will be glad to discuss all fees with you, answer any questions you may have, and help you with payment arrangements before your surgery. For your convenience, all health insurance plans are billed directly by The Surgery Center.

We accept MasterCard® Visa, and Discover® as well as payment in cash or check. Patients not fully covered by their insurance plans should call our office to make financial arrangements before the day of surgery. All accounts are due within 90 days of service.

Before your appointment, please contact your insurance company for prior authorization requirements as needed by your coverage. This will avoid full patient responsibility for the charges.
